Katharine Hepburn born May 12, 1907 in Hartord, CT, starting her on her career as the very embodiment of the Yankee sophistication and aplomb. Unfortunately, TCM has already shown most of the titles they've scheduled in celebration. However, her trademark role in Stage Door is showing Monday (May 14) at 6pm.
There was a documentary narrated by Ms. Hepburn on TCM this past weekend. It was very interesting and quite informative, especially since it was her thoughts on herself and her career.
