The Ones We Missed

Inevitably, we will miss some leads that might leap to mind in a course named Hollywood Leading Ladies.  Sadly, we don’t have room for everyone, some who you might prefer even.  To acknowledge those figures who might have been included, but who were not, I’ll name a few.  In another course, we should undoubtedly include Mary Pickford, Lillian Gish, Irene Dunne, Greer Garson, Merle Oberon, Marlene Dietrich, Joan Crawford, Olivia DeHaviland, Joan Fontaine, Jennifer Jones, Vivian Leigh, Judy Garland, Jessica Tandy, Grace Kelly, Lena Horne, Natalie Woods, Catherine Deneuve, Janet Leigh, Jill Clayburgh, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, etc. Even though we may not be watching a film from one of the stars above, you could still focus on one or more of them in your final paper.   This goes on (somewhat stretched), but obviously this is a big topic. Please add leading ladies I’ve missed in the comments.
